I Love My Testers!

Today I want to spot light 2 of my most reliable testers!  I love everything these ladies do to bring my patterns to life, make me a better writer, and promote my patterns!

First up is Lisa from http://www.facebook.com/pages/I-crochet-it/  !!  I just love the visions she sees with my patterns, and she always makes the most delicate and delightful items from my patterns!  :)

Here is her latest pic of the Ziggy Cowl, done in a gorgeous laceweight yarn!  Amazing!!

Next up is Skye from http://www.facebook.com/BlueSkyeCrafts !!  This girl has an eye for color, and I am never disappointed with what she makes!  I can't say how much of a help she is to me!!

Pattern of the Week!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!  This week I'm starting to have a "Pattern of the Week" sale.  Every Monday I will list one of my patterns at 50% off (or $2) for the week.

This week's pattern is my new release . . . the Ziggy Cowl and Scarf Combo!  I really love how this pattern came out, and I hope you guys love it too!  I'm not a big fan of working with bulky weight yarns, but I think that one may be my favorite version that I made!

Happy Saturday!

Not much craft related here going on . . . weekends are usually a little down time for me  :)  We spent an hour at the zoo this afternoon with the munchkin, that was fun!  Got to see the Polar Bears, and Elephants!

I think I may play with some clay while I watch football, but not fully decided yet.  Hope you're all having a great weekend!

Trying something new!

Happy Friday everyone!!  Are we all ready for the weekend?  I know I am, I miss my hubby!  :)

How many of us get so wrapped up in our preferred craft that we forget to try new things?  I know I am guilty of this, I love to crochet, and when I got a hook in hand I sometimes forget all else.  Sometimes a motivational break is needed though, and what better to do than to try a new craft??  I decided to get some clay a few days ago, being inspired by seeing other people's cute buttons and such.  Last night I got it out to play, and who knew it would be so much FUN!?

Crochet isn't going anywhere, but this is fun to play with too!  I'll include a few pics of my first adventure with clay  ;)

Sneak Peak!!

How is everyone doing today?  Hubby is back to work today, everyone seems to be feeling better, things are getting back on track!  Yay!

Happy New Year!

Hope everyone had a great New Year's??  We stayed home where it was quiet last night, with our little munchkin.  Today is my Hubby's last day of vacation, so not a lot got done today either!  I do have a new cowl/scarf combo pattern in the works!  Maybe tomorrow I'll have some sneak peaks to show you guys . . . working on some of the kinks now!  :)
